If you’ve spent any time wandering the dusty trails of New Austin or the humid swamps of Lemoyne, you’ve likely heard the haunting, hypnotic melody of a gramophone echoing through the trees. Being the voice of Madame Nazar in Red Dead Redemption 2 has been one of the most enchanting chapters of my career. She is more than a character; she is a mood, a mystery, and a constant companion to millions of players worldwide.
When I first stepped into the world of Madame Nazar, I knew she wasn’t your average NPC. She’s a nomad, a collector of curiosities, and a woman who holds the secrets of the universe in the palm of her hand. As a female voiceover artist, you’re always looking for roles that have weight: characters who don’t just deliver lines but create an atmosphere.

Madame Nazar is exactly that. She is authentic, unfiltered, and deeply rooted in a world that is both timeless and ever-changing. Whether she’s judging your latest collection of tarot cards or cryptically hinting at the future, her voice needed to carry the wisdom of the ages and the playfulness of a traveler who has seen it all. Bringing her to life was about finding that balance between the eerie and the inviting: a voice that makes you want to stop your horse and stay a while, even if you’re not quite sure you should trust her.
One of the most incredible things about being part of the Red Dead Redemption 2 cast is seeing how the community interacts with the game long after its release. I’ve watched in awe as players formed entire digital movements just to find me!
Because Madame Nazar changes her location every single day, she has become the star of a global game of hide-and-seek. From dedicated websites like MadamNazar.io to Twitter accounts that post her coordinates with the precision of a GPS, the dedication is staggering. It makes the character feel alive. She isn’t just waiting for you in a town square; she is out there, in the world, living her own life.
The "Madame Nazar hunt" is a perfect example of how storytelling has evolved. It’s not just about what happens in a cutscene; it’s about the collective experience of a community working together to find a bit of magic in the wilderness.

Being one of the red dead redemption voice actors means joining a legacy of performers who have redefined what acting in video games can be. Even though we often record our parts in isolation, the final product feels like a cohesive, breathing ecosystem.

I’ve spent my career working across film, television, and even hosting the Mom Curious podcast, but the connection I feel with the RDR2 fans is truly unique. You are some of the most passionate, creative, and welcoming people I’ve ever "met": at least, virtually.
Here’s the thing: I love the digital world, but I’m a storyteller who thrives on human connection. I get messages every day from fans asking about Madame Nazar, sharing their fan art, or telling me how much they love the "Nazar theme" (that music really is iconic, isn't it?).
And now, I’m ready to take the wagon on the road.
I see my fellow Red Dead Redemption 2 cast members heading to incredible conventions (Cons) like Fan Expo, MCM London, and Dragon Con to meet all of you in person. I see the photos, the autographs, and the shared joy, and I find myself thinking: Why haven't I joined the party yet?
I am officially putting it out into the universe (and to the convention organizers!): I want to meet you.
I want to hear your stories about the first time you found my wagon. I want to sign Collector maps, custom Tarot decks, fan art, and all the beautifully niche memorabilia your mysterious little hearts can dream up. I want to celebrate the "mess, magic, and meaning" of this incredible community face-to-face.
So if you want to see me at your favorite Con, don’t just wish it: make a little noise. Tag the organizers on social media. Tag New York Comic Con, Fan Expo, MCM London, Dragon Con: whoever you want to see me with. Tell them Madame Nazar belongs in the building. I’m more than ready to step out from behind the microphone and into the room with you.
Until then, keep searching the horizon. Whether you’re a collector looking for that final piece of the set or just a wanderer enjoying the sunset, remember that the best stories are the ones we find when we aren’t looking for them.
Thank you for making Madame Nazar such a beloved part of your world. You’ve certainly made her a beloved part of mine.
Stay curious, stay mysterious, and I’ll see you on the trail.
